Lately I have been trying new products since building this website and trying out Birchbox, so I am finally able to give you a list of my winter favorites this year. Some of these are things I have recently bought, have had, or just tried. You should rotate your beauty products at the change of the season, unless you live somewhere that it’s the same all year round. Climate change can impact your body in many ways, so it is important to keep up with it.

You know how they say no matter how oily your skin is, you still need to moisturize? Same goes for your hair! I have very thin, straight, and oily hair, but this stuff never makes it greasy. It nourishes with Argan Oil and gives a beautiful shine. It is also good for heat protection and healing those split ends.

This stuff is great for making combing much easier when your hair is wet out of the shower. This is part of my winter favorites because it makes my hair silky soft without weighing it down.

If you are like me with acne-prone skin, blackheads, and the works, you’ll love this product. Even if you have dry skin (and get those annoying flakes during the winter), this will help you get all of that dead skin off ASAP. It is especially one of my winter favorites for this reason. I have been obsessed with skin care lately because I have struggled with blackheads for years, so shedding that dead skin is super important.

P.S. don’t be wary of the travel size, I have used mine twice and I still have some left. You do get your money’s worth.

With the same reasons as I stated above with the 3-Minute Peel, I bought this from Sephora as a treatment to do when I had more time or needed a more intense peel. I was a bit scared of the price, but I decided to give it as hot. You get so much in the kit (you only use a small amount each time, max twice per week) and it works! I am in love. Everyone needs this for glowy, smooth, and radiant skin.

Moisturizers: Tea Tree Oil, Avocado Oil, and Clinique Moisture Surge

Clik here to view. When using intense peels like the once above, you need intense moisturizers, too. Moisturizer should be everyone’s winter favorite, anyhow, since dry air= dry skin.I received 2 samples of Clinique’s Moisture Surge and I use it whenever I use those peels, since it packs an amazing amount of moisture to the skin, leaving it soft and sooth. Other nights, I spot-treat with Tea Tree Oil and pat some Avocado Oil on my skin.

For those of you who are scared of liquid lipsticks, this is for you. I received it in this month’s Birchbox. This tint has the same concept as a liquid lipstick, but is much more sheer, though it can be build up to a great opacity. It didn’t show any of the dry skin on my lips and felt very moisturizing. Best part: IT DOES NOT COME OFF (barely even with oil) and it dries completely matte.
-> $4 here
Hopefully you have found my winter favorites helpful in case you had no idea what to buy since it just recently started getting cold (at least here in NJ). Let me know what you thought in the comments: would you like to see more posts like this? have you used any of these products?
Stay gorgeous!
