Clik here to view. As you guys could probably tell from my last Birchbox review, I absolutely love them! The stuff you get every month is well protected during shipping, is high quality, and the samples are a decent size. For beauty lovers like me (and maybe you), this is a perfect way to find products that really work and are relevant to your needs.
Here is my review on my December Birchbox:

If you are looking for the perfect highlighter for the new strobing trend or simply love a dewy, lit up look, this is amazing. Seriously. Normally, I like matte everything, but this highlighter is like diamonds for your face. A little goes a long, long, LONG way. I only need a tiny dab for each cheek. I simply apply it on the highest points of my face and my cupid’s bow for a raised and lively effect. What’s more, you can mix this with a moisturizer/lotion to use all over your body.

I had heard of Coastal Scents before, but not so much on the quality. When I saw the eyeshadow samples, I tried them right away. I will say this: the creamy color looks nice as a base color, but the pinky champagne color takes some building up to get some pigmentation. I wore them yesterday with my makeup for the day and I came home to creased eyes; mind you, I always use a primer. In short, I am not really a fan.

The Soap and Paper Factory’s Green Tea & Shea Butter Hand Cream
If you have dry hands, then you’ll likely need a good moisturizer (preferably one that’ll fit in your purse, pocket, backpack, etc.) so you can go about your day with soft and smooth hands. This moisturizer does the job. I already have found moisturizers that work for me (and do a better job at a cheaper price than this one), so this one was just okay, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, it has a nice smell and does what it is supposed to do, so I will not be throwing this away. My suggestion? Give it a try and see how it works for you because everyone’s skin is different.

Just a disclaimer: I have fine, thin, oily, and straight hair, so I need volume wherever I can get it. To put it simply, my hair will not stay in a braid, bun, or teased for more than an hour. This stuff that I received in my Birchbox was God-sent. Some may complain that it leaves your hair with a strange, crunchy texture, but I haven’t experienced the crunchy part. It just feels like dry shampoo. It really does as it promises: it texturizes and volumizes the hair. After I spray this, my hair will bend every which way I want and stay that way.

Beauty Protector’s Protect & Oil Hair Oil

The second hair product and last product from the box was also amazing. I always shied away from hair oil because of my excessively oily scalp. They all say they are lightweight, but not on my hair. This stuff? It truly is lightweight, in fact, the only reason I can tell that it is in my hair is because my hair is silky smooth, smells lovely, and is shiny. Speaking of the scent, this oil smells like any coconut, jasmine, sandalwood, or something like that. It’s like perfume for your hair. I use this oil in a few ways: massage it into my scalp and work it into my freshly showered hair, lightly dab it onto ends and fly-aways, or completely saturate my hair when I put it in braids (this of course will look odd if your don’t put it in french braids because your hair is covered in oil). Seriously. Try this.
Grade: A+
Overall, I loved this Birchbox, besides the eyeshadow. Oh, and did I mention I also got an eyelash curler with this box, too?
