We all remember Adam Lambert on American Idol. He was the one who sang Simon’s favorite: Bohemian Rhapsody. Besides his obviously lovely voice, he also has a style to die for. He is not afraid to be himself, and individuality is very important when you are a huge face of music. He has no problem carrying the weight of everyones eyes on him while he is on the red carpet. More specifically, the makeup he wears complements his outgoing fashion so well. He is someone we all need to learn from.
He taught us it is perfectly fine to have multiple makeup personas.
There are no rules.
So rock an Amy Winehouse wing one day and a shimmery lid the next. Who cares? You’ll look great either way.
I remember when I was messing around and doing my brother’s makeup. When he walked out of my room our father flipped out. His generation grew up with the notion of gender stereotypes and certain things boys are supposed to do and what girls are supposed to do. Well, look at Mr. Lambert rocking this smokey eye with so sharp it could cut you. Does he look like he cares?
Adam Lambert still continues to show us that you can be any gender and still do whatever you want with your appearance. Again: makeup has no rules.
Do you know what he does when he hears that men can’t wear makeup?

Glitter is the herpes of makeup. Seriously. I even have a definition from Urban Dictionary:
I know. So reliable. Anyways, glitter can be like the plague, but it is very glamorous if you can pull it off in a makeup look. It looks like Adam Lambert had beat us to that, as well because:
BAM!
I mean, come on. His makeup looks like it is made out of stars or something.
So many people are afraid to wear bright colors on their eyes, but what they don’t understand is that bright colors can really make your eyes pop. Adam Lambert certainly knows this. He is not afraid to strut in a hot orange like this one, making his blue eyes look even more gorgeous than before. Confidence is key. He’s certainly got it.
There is no makeup Adam Lambert can’t pull off. The first step to beauty is believing in your beauty (confidence). Mr. Lambert is not a bashful person. Without this confidence, you’ll be too afraid to venture out of mascara and blush. So, if you want to be adventurous in your looks, trust in your ability to look beautiful in whatever you wear.
